If you want to be a successful blogger, then you need to know that this is not an easy task. Blogging requires a lot of productivity. I can say that productivity is key.
But if you have another work besides blogging, it can all become much more difficult. Whether blogging is your only job or you are doing something else, I will help you.
In this post, I will write about 5 easy steps in which you can become a more productive blogger.
I worked as a copywriter for a large marketing company. I did not have much free time when I decided to start blogging. But that did not stop me from achieving what I wanted. I found several ways to increase my productivity.
Well, it’s time to share them with you:
- Set your goals
Setting your goals is the key. You will not achieve anything without this. It’s time to start writing down your big and small goals.
Tick your completed goals. That way you will know how far you have come, and how much you have left.
Indeed, this was crucial for me, and it helped me a lot. This way I manage to complete all the tasks.
- Make your plans
I’m sure many things are in your head. So you can not decide where to start. Clear your mind, and make a plan.
Make a plan. What time do you respond to emails, when you respond to comments and messages. When writing a new blog post.
Organize your time according to a pre-made plan. Decide when and how long you will work on a particular task.
- Make your own schedule
This step is quite related to the previous one – making a plan. Usually, the manager is the one who decides at work who will do what and when. But in this case, it is not so.
There is no one here to manage your time and your schedule. You have to do this. This way you will save more of your precious time and you will be more organized and more what? Of course, more productive.
- You manage your time
You are the one. Maybe blogging is your second job. So this is very important. All the above tips will not mean anything if you do not know how to manage your own time.
Do not waste time on unnecessary things. Of course, you need a short break, you need to check what’s new on Instagram and Facebook. If so, set up an organization that will work for 30-40 minutes (set an alarm) and then take a break for 10-15 minutes (also set an alarm).
In this way, you will make good use of your precious time.
- Let blogging be a part of your routine
If you want to make money from blogging then you have to focus on it as a real thing. Because that’s the real thing.
So make it a part of your daily routine. I’m not saying you should write blogs every day. And I’m not saying you don’t need a break.
For example, write two posts on Monday. On Tuesday select or take pictures for your blog posts. Post to your blog on Wednesday. On Thursday, share it on the social networks you use. Reply to all emails you received during the week on Friday. Saturday and Sunday can be days off or do some of these things in case you want to keep working.
